Mr. Lembke
represents clients in diverse matters involving intellectual
property (IP) rights, with emphasis on patent preparation,
prosecution, and enforcement and IP due diligence support of
transactions. In his practice, he works with a wide range of
technologies including: mechanical and electrical devices
and systems; computer software and hardware including disk
drive design, semiconductor device fabrication, data storage
management, and electronic commerce optimization; digital
network and wireless communication devices, networks, and
processes; medical devices; optics including lens and laser
technologies; material fabrication processes including
fabrication of semiconductor devices, energy and renewable
energy systems and processes, and environmental remediation
technologies. Prior to law school, Kent worked as a design
and plant engineer at nuclear power facilities giving him
significant practical mechanical, electrical, and
environmental engineering experience, and he has been a
registered professional engineer for more than 15 years.
