Mr. Fischmann’s practice
focuses on helping companies develop and execute strategies
for protecting their technology, keeping their development
channels open and maximizing the value to investors of their
intellectual property. This often involves developing
complementary patent and trade secret programs and
protecting trademarks, as well as prosecuting patent
applications in the United States and abroad, performing
freedom to practice analyses, and counseling as to
intellectual property transactions. Mr. Fischmann holds a
degree in aerospace engineering and has represented clients
since 1990 in a variety of technology areas including
telecommunications, software, aerospace, medical devices,
optics and physics. Among these clients are start ups,
venture financed companies and public companies including
Fortune 50 companies. Prior to Marsh Fischmann & Breyfogle,
Mr. Fischmann practiced at a Denver intellectual property
law firm and general practice firms in Denver and Seattle.
